The board of directors is a body of five elected members who jointly govern the District. The directors are members of the local community, elected at-large, each serving a staggered four-year term. The directors provide financial oversight and strategic policy direction to maximize the public value of District services.
Compensation
District Ordinance #21 sets Board compensation at $105 per District Board meeting. Board members may be compensated for a maximum of four meetings per month.
Benefits
Directors may receive a cellular telephone allowance in the amount of $65 per month. Directors are also reimbursed for official travel and training consistent with District policy.
