EMS Survivor Reunion Luncheon

Event is by invitation only

The Contra Costa Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Agency is excited to celebrate our fourth annual EMS Survivors’ reunion luncheon scheduled for Wednesday, November 20, 2019, in Walnut Creek. This event will reunite individuals who experienced near-fatal events within the past year with the medical professionals and bystanders who played a significant role in their survival. During the luncheon, survivors will be given the opportunity to meet their rescuers face-to-face; from the bystander who performed CPR to the 9-1-1 dispatcher who provided instructions over the phone, the first responders, EMTs, and paramedics who provided medical care, to the hospital emergency department staff who cared for each of them.

The EMS Agency will also recognize one EMS system partner from each category below to receive the “Star of Life,” “Compassionate Caregiver,” “Lifetime Achievement” and “Heart of EMS” awards.
