Rotarians at Work Day
The San Ramon Rotary Club and the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District are proud to announce a new smoke detector program especially for seniors in our community.
On Saturday, April 23, teams from the San Ramon Rotary Club will visit the homes of seniors in San Ramon who need assistance changing batteries in their existing smoke detectors or replacing smoke detectors that are over ten years old. This service is free and signing up is simple.
If you or someone you know in San Ramon needs their batteries changed or their smoke detector replaced, please call the “Rotarians at Work” project at (925) 838-5133 or sign-up on-line or print a sign-up form and return it to one of the three drop-off locations listed below. For seniors living in Alamo, Danville, Diablo, Blackhawk or in the Tassajara Valley, please call (925) 838-6600 if you need help with your smoke alarms.

Please note that Rotarians are only able to change batteries and smoke detectors on ceilings up to ten feet in height.
